Accessing virtual accounts at the college:
All online services can be accessed on the college website under "All Virtual Platforms"
Use your student number and Omnivox password to access the services discussed below.
How do I access Omnivox?
To access Omnivox, go to https://www.cegep-heritage.qc.ca/external-tool and click on “Go to Omnivox”. Your username is your Student ID and the password is what you create when you activate your Omnivox account.
How do I access Moodle?
You can access Moodle go to https://www.cegep-heritage.qc.ca/external-tool and click on “Go to Moodle”. Sign in with your college credentials.
Note: The credntials is your college email([StudentNumber]@cegep-heritage.qc.ca) and Omnivox password.
How do access my College Email?
As part of your enrollment package, the College has provided you with a Microsoft License. This license allows you to log into all Microsoft Office applications on up to 5 devices for free.
Your college email address is included in an enrollment package. You are given a Microsoft License, this license allows you to log into all Microsoft Office applications on up to 5 devices for free. It is important to set it up and check it regularly as it will be the primary method for college internal communications. The format of your college email is: [7-digit-StudentNumber]@cegep-heritage.qc.ca Or [LastName.FirstName]@cegep-heritage.qc.ca
To use your mailbox go the Heritage College website and go to "All Virtual Platforms"
- Select “Go to Outlook.” or go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox
- Authenticate with your Student ID and Omnivox Password.
- You will then be re-directed to the Heritage College Microsoft Website.
- Use the same username and password as the before (Student ID and Omnivox Password)
- You will be required to go through the process of Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
- If you have not set up MFA yet, refer to the “MFA FAQ”.
How do I access OneDrive?
You can access your OneDrive on the browser (the web version), or on your desktop.
To access One Drive on the browser, navigate to https://www.cegep-heritage.qc.ca/external-tool.
- From there Click on “Go to Microsoft 365”.
- Authenticate with your College credentials (Username: [StudentNumber]@cegep-heritage.qc.ca and password: Omnivox password), and do the MFA process.
- Once you are in your office account, navigate to the top left of your screen and click on the icon next to “Microsoft 365”.
- Once you logged into OneDrive, navigate to “My files”, under Home. This is where you can store your files and it will be synced into the cloud.
- Note: Office 365 applications downloaded on your desktop for free and up to 5 different websites, from the Office Website.
How do I access Microsoft Teams?
To access Microsoft Teams on the browser, navigate to https://www.cegep-heritage.qc.ca/external-tool and click on “Go to MS Teams”.
From there you will be prompted to sign in or download Teams application.
If you just want to use the web version, sign in with your college credentials If you want to have the desktop version, Click on Download now and select “Teams for Work or school”.
