Criterion-on-Demand is a video streaming service that provides teachers and students access to a large variety of feature films online, in both English and French, from a number of top film studios.

  • Includes movies on multiple genres like foreign language films, literary adaptations, justice, classics, environmental and social issues, academy award winners, and more
  • Over 1,500 English titles, 1,100  French titles and over 100 documentary features
  • English and French titles are available, and same language subtitles are available for the hearing impaired
  • Stream anywhere anytime 24/7 access

What else should you know? 

  • To gain access just go to the library website then select in the A-Z database list
    • From there Criterion-on-Demand 
      • When accessing off campus you may need to log-in to the E-Z proxy link
  • Teachers can stream movies from Criterion-on-Demand for classes 
    • It does not breach copyright and is encouraged
  • Criterion-on-Demand does not work on all browsers
    • Works best on Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox
